About Elke
Elke Stappert is a Reiki Master, Ayurvedic Marma Therapy practitioner, educator, and lifelong learner. A New Yorker with close ties to Germany, she brings warmth, curiosity, and a practical approach to her work.
She believes that small, consistent practices can make a real difference in how we feel and move through everyday life. Reiki, meditation, Ayurveda, and a healthy dose of humor are part of her own practice as well as her work with others.
Elke holds an MA from NYU and has worked as a language and literacy educator for many years. She speaks English, German, and bastante Spanish.
Why "yoyo"?
Because everything in life takes energy, patience, and practice. Sometimes we're up, sometimes we're down, and usually we're somewhere in between. Regular Reiki and meditation help Elke find her balance in everyday life.
yoyoReiki grew from her desire to share some of those tools with others.

Meet Siggi: Feline Reiki Master in Training
Siggi or his brother Pixel may be nearby during a session. If you would like them to keep their distance, just let Elke know. For clients with cat allergies, Elke will be happy to discuss a home visit or refer you to a colleague.
